ACPAAA 35th Anniversary

Police Appreciation Video For ACPAAA 35 Years of Support

The Arlington Police Department (APD) established the Citizen Police Academy (CPA) in 1987. It was the third such organization in the United States and the second in Texas. The purpose of the Academy is to promote better understanding and communication between APD and the citizens of Arlington. After the second class graduated from the Academy, the Alumni was organized to support the police department and it continues today.

For more information about the topics in the CPA curriculum presented by APD officers, put the link below in your browser or call the Crime Prevention Unit of the APD at 817-459-5725.

All CPA graduates are invited to join ACPAAA
