VOLUNTEERING FOR ARLINGTON SRT
On May 7, ACPAAA and HCPAAA members volunteered for the Arlington SRT (Special Response Team) as actors for scenario training at AT&T Stadium. The SRT practiced crowd control techniques in final preparation for the FIFA World Cup soccer matches being held in June and July. Thank you to the Arlington Police Department and all the volunteers who participated in this important training!
ACPA CLASS LEARNS ABOUT APD SWAT
At a recent ACPA class, students were invited to learn more about our APD SWAT Unit, a highly trained unit specialized in handling high-risk incidents. They were also treated to an up-close look at the specialized equipment used by the Unit for the high-stakes, dangerous situations they encounter. Thank You SWAT!
